Liputan6.com, Jakarta Regional General Hospital (RSUD) Bogor City, West Java received oxygen concentrator assistance from the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB).The assistance of 20 oxygen concentrator units was handed over by representatives from Commission VIII DPR RI as BNPB partners at the Field Hospital or Bogor City Field Hospital, Friday (16/7/2021).Deputy Chairperson of Commission VIII of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Diah Pitaloka, said this assistance was to meet oxygen needs when the hospital was experiencing an oxygen crisis due to the rising number of positive Covid-19 cases in Bogor City.According to him, the government's contribution is expected to help the Bogor City Government's efforts in tackling Covid-19 in the City of Rain."Social solidarity is also an important key in these times. How residents must take care of each other, both for themselves, their families and the environment so as not to be exposed and increase the burden on our health workers," he said.The PDI-P politician also appealed to residents who were able to work hand in hand to provide any assistance to ease the burden affected by Covid-19.Oxygen concentrator is a tool to produce pure oxygen from free air, which can distribute it directly to its users, in this case Covid-19 patients.Deputy Mayor of Bogor, Dedie A. Rachim said, of the 20 oxygen concentrator units, 15 units will be used in the Hospital Expansion Hospital and the rest in the emergency room at the Bogor City Hospital."With the oxygen concentrator, many residents of the city of Bogor have been helped.
